MY JOURNEY IN SEARCH OF LOVE
I began my journey in search of true love
And looked to the sky, for strength from above
If love is so great, why is it hard to find
I cannot see it, am I just blind.
What is true love, does it really exist
Is it a feeling, a thought or an abyss
Where is true love, is it lost in the mist
Is it in my mind, my heart or behind my first kiss.
Why do hearts hurt if love is so pure
Many are broken and seeking a cure
What is true love, is it big or small
They say 'It's better to have loved, than not at all'
Where can I find it, where does one look
In nature, in others, or a romantic book
'It comes from within', that is what they say
Do I search in my soul or continue to pray.
My journey now over, I will share what I found
True love is within us and holds no bounds
It is a beautiful feeling, within one’s soul
It can be shared with others and make you whole.
From this feeling of love there is so much to gain
If it is true love you will never feel pain
It will not deceive you, or devalue your worth
An abundance of this love can bring peace on earth.
This feeling of love can be found nowhere else
No glamour, no glitter or extreme wealth
This materialistic world to which we aspire
Cannot give us the true love our hearts desire.
As I close my eyes and relax my mind
I discover inner feelings deep down inside
Peace, happiness and harmony too
True love exists there within all of you.
Now that I have found it, I will never let it go
I shall cherish these feelings deep in my soul
No one can destroy it, it is here forever
This true love of mine will leave me never.

Precious Wife Poem

The most precious thing in this world to me
is not something you'd hide or lock up with a key
its some proof of his love
its a gift from above,
not of silver or gold,
but from the promises he told.
As he saw that I was incomplete,
he made for me a help meet,
he looked the heavens over high and low
and told an angel she must go.
Adam was made from mud and sod
by the hand of our loving God,
he took from his rib as he slept
and made this gift, so through life she would help.
All these things he did for me
so that I could become We.
And I promise to you all the days of my life,
I ll love and cherish you, my precious wife.

My Love-Poem

It is said that when one truly loves,
one must also suffer.
If that is true,
then the love I feel for you
cannot be false.
I would like to be able to forget you,
and erase you from my memory.
To accomplish that,
I would have to tear out the heart
that in my soul beats only for you!
My entire life,
I will await your return.
It doesn't matter how much time passes,
I will wait for you.
Maybe one day
when time has painted your hair white,
and slowed your step,
you'll think of me.
If you remember how much I promised
to love you and wait for you,
if you feel that
you still love me
look for me.
For here you will find an old man
who although time has stolen his youth
and has put wrinkles on his face
still waits for you,
and still loves you.
Just as much as the day we met.

everything around me can change but my feelings for you will never change.
Everyday i feel i should tell you how i feel.
i want to say i love you ,
but i don't know what Love is.
baby girl you complete me ,
you feel the empty spaces in my heart.
when i'm around you my mind shuts down,
for the feelings i have for you can't be described by words.
me without you is like a bird with one wing,
flying is impossible
and so is the description of my feeling for you.
if people say its unreal i wont believe them,
but if they say its madness i will believe them for i am madly in love with you.
