60th Anniversary Poems, Verses
Have a Happy Diamond Wedding
A day that's filled with fun
And remember 60 years ago
When two became one!

It started with a simple ring,

All those years ago,

And now you have a ‘jewelry store’

That continues to grow.

25 years of bliss had proved,

You’d made a good selection

Reaching silver, you went on to 40th

When a ruby joined your collection

Another decade flew by

In matrimonial happiness

You attained gold...the pinnacle

Of blissful weddedness

And now you’re at a stage,

 Reached by very few

60 years brings diamond

Congrats to both of you.

But the “jewel” to be proudest of

More than gold, or any other

Is undoubtedly the enduring love

You have for one another

Who could have guessed
When you began married life
How entwined you'd become
As husband and wife.
After 60 years
You still say "I Love You"
in many different ways.
May Diamond remind you,
You share a special happiness
Life gives to very few.

60th anniversary verses

One by one each year flew by,
Since you both said “I do”
60 years of memories,
Shared by the two of you.
From big events and holidays
To simple daily pleasures,
Some tearful times along life’s way,
Some joys that can’t be measured
One by one each year now gone,
But still they’re yours forever
Each and every memory,
Of sixty years together!

Happy Diamond Anniversary

There was a worry that I had,
When we were young and love was new
When I had told you everything there was to tell,
What would we do?

What would we find to talk about
With our lives so intertwined
That each of us already knew
The workings of the other's mind?

Well, sixty years have come and gone,
And I can giggle at my fears.
For I have never shut my mouth
And you have never closed your ears.

So here we stand so proud and happy
And think back to the past
A secret grin begins for those who said
"It will never last!"
