Poems for Friendship
A friend is someone we turn to
when our spirits need a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure
for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives
with beauty, joy, and grace
And makes the whole world we live in
a better and happier place.
If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you.
And share with you it's beauty
On the days you're feeling blue.
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own.
A place to find serenity
A place to be alone.
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea.
But all these things I'm finding
are impossible for me,
I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair
But let me be...what I know best,
a friend that's always there.
This Poems for Friendship page brings to light all of the ingredients that make up the relationships that we call friends. From our mothers or fathers, brothers or sisters OR to those who are closer than those, who give us the love we need, or show us the compassion we need, or say just the right words at just the right time, or tell us the truth just when we really need to hear it, OUR FRIENDS.

Poems for Friendship
What would life be with out friends like thee
I'll tell you, like no longer being free.
Imagine what life would be so sad and blue
To go through life without that special you.
And I know we live so far away,
Through the internet we are like castaways
Never get to touch or hug you for this I only pray
For some day I hope we can meet
To hug and laugh and dance to the beat
I know this would be a treat
For now this is all I see
Is my good friend here with me
Just think what life would be
Without friends like thee
Among life's precious jewels,
Genuine and rare,
The one that we call friendship
Has worth beyond compare.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,
Things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas
of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
****"International Friendship Day"****
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person..
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to
meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to
provide you with guidance and support,
To aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an
inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to
bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met,
time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.
Life is like a book and some characters in your story will be in every chapter throughout your book of your life. Some are in one or two chapters and fleetingly some only feel like they are in an odd paragraph. They may be in another chapter-they may not. So share and care, love and laugh whilst you can for tomorrow is always another page.
