Wedding Anniversary Calendar and "Congratulations"
For those lucky to arrive at a wedding anniversary - from the couple celebrating 60 years of wedded bliss!
When asked what the secret was the wife said "Never going to sleep on an argument" The husband said "It's all down to two little words. Yes Dear!"

How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?

This chart is one that traditionalists hold dear for the choice of gift that coincides with the number of years married and there are links to verses for your cards. This makes it very interesting whilst fun to find an unusual choice for the happy couple.
The various anniversaries have names which are traditional and suggested the type of gift that might be given. Nowadays the gift tends to be given only after 25 years where on the Silver Wedding Anniversary a sterling silver gift might be given. Likewise, after 50 years married a gold gift might be forthcoming. I'm not sure that at the 60th milestone a diamond gift is given often (80 year olds have little need of a diamond). There are modern equivalents and, for example, it is alleged that the modern gift to give for the first anniversary is a clock. The traditional and modern person may give just a paper picture of a clock. You might be able to discern that I don't take this too seriously.
