Sweet Mother's Love Poem

by Bidemi Adebola Daisi
(United Arab Emirates)

Oh for a love that shrinketh not
Though I am of painful deeds
Yet a caring love so hot
Never having any creeds

Oh for sweet mother's love
Suiting always to my soul
Yet abounds without move'
but burns on like the coal.

Mother's Day Poems

by Sue
(Dubai)

I hope my Mother's Day verses collection is of use to you and your visitors

**

May all the love you've given to me
come back to you today.
For know one could love you, as much as I.
On this Mother's Day

* Mother Poems *

These next two poems are on the same theme

God made a wonderful Mother
A Mother who doesn't grow old.
He made her a smile of sunshine,
And a heart of pure gold.

In her cheeks he placed fair roses,
In her eyes, stars that shine.
God made a wonderful Mother,
And that wonderful Mother is mine.

*

When God was making Mothers
As far as I can see
He put a special effort into one
And saved that just for me.

He made the perfect women
Compassionate and kind
With more patience and affection
Than you could hope to find.

He gave this lovely lady
A heart of solid gold
And after God had finished
He must have broke the mold.

* Mother Poems *

The moon never beams without bringing me dreams Of you, wonderful mother of mine.
The birds never sing but a message do they bring
Of you, wonderful mother of mine.
This day is never here without it reminding me how dear
You are, wonderful mother of mine

Have a Wonderful day
Wonderful mother of mine

**

Because of all the thoughtful things you do...
Because of all the warmth and love you show...
Because you're a (Mum)(Mom) who's wonderful in every way
This Mother's Day wish is filled with Love for you.

Happy Mother's Day

**

Most of us are guilty of not saying
Enough to those we love the best
We just hope our feelings are understood.
Though not oft expressed

That’s why it’s so important
That Mother’s Day exists to say
How very much that you're loved
Each and every day

Guilty as charged
I love you Mum
Happy Mother's Day

**

If I could give you diamonds for each tear you cried for me.
If I could give you sapphires for each truth you’ve helped me see.
If I could give you rubies for the heartache that you’ve known
If I could give you pearls for the wisdom that you’ve shown.
Then you’ll have a treasure, mother, that would mount up to the skies
That would almost match the sparkle in your kind and loving eyes.
But I have no pearls, no diamonds,
As I’m sure you’re well aware
So I’ll give you gifts more precious
My devotion, love and care.

With all my love on Happy Mother's Day

Mum, you should have been an air traffic controller...
...I was grounded so often!

With Lots Of Love on Mothers Day

* Mother Poems *

Just to bring back the time,
That was so sweet to me,
Just to bring back the days,
When I sat on her knee.

I pray every night to our Father above,
For that wonderful mother of mine.
I ask Him to keep her as long as He can
That wonderful mother of mine.

There are treasures on earth,
That made life seem worthwhile,
But there's none can compare
To my mother's smile.

With love on Mothers Day

Sending this, Mum, especially to say
Wishing you a happy and wonderful day...
And to tell you this day will always be one
For remembering the many sweet things you have done!

Lots of love on Mothers Day

**

Wishing you songbirds
to welcome each morning.
Wishing you flowers
to brighten each spring.
Wishing you laughter
and sharing and caring.
And all of the joy
that each new day can bring.

Happy Mother's Day

* Mother Poems *

It doesn't need a special day
To send love to you dear Mum
But thank you for the years gone by
and all the years to come
For every time you've held my hand
And wiped the tears away
And sometimes for the words I said
But didn't mean to say
You're always there, a friend to me
My mentor all the way
So know I love you more than life
On this very special day

Happy Mother's Day

**

With all your loving ways
Which show me that you care
It's no wonder that I love you
And so glad I'm your heir

**

There are times when only a Mother's love can understand our tears,
And soothe our disappointments and calm away our fears.
There are times when only a Mother's love can share the joy we feel,
When something we have dreamed about suddenly is real.
There are times when only a Mother's love can help us on life's way
And inspire in us, the confidence we need from day to day.
Mother, thank you for your heart, faith and hope and all your steadfast love
You were fashioned by the Angels and sent from God above
With love on Mother's Day

* Mother Poems *

For all the times you gently picked me up when I fell down
For all the times you tied my shoes and tucked me into bed
or needed something but put me first instead.
For everything we shared,
The dreams, the laughter, and the tears,
I love you with a "Special Love"
That deepens every year.

Happy Mother's Day

**

This wish for you Mother
Is straight from the heart.
With more special meaning
Than words can impart
May your day hold pleasures
That you're fondest of
And remember each day
You're thought of with Love.

Happy Mother's Day

Mothers Day

by Ruby Brocklehurst
(Newcastle-under-lyme,England, UK)

Mother Poems

mothers day is special
we love them very much
they take us out for dinner
and love us all as such

they make us laugh
and fill us with fun
they look after us
there's none like a mum

bring them flowers
love them too
as they will always love you back
and will never hate you

they are always busy
but always there
sitting by the fire
in the rocking chair

but your the best one of all
and i will always love you
knowing the love is true
and mothers like you are few

mama's day

by Fathima Mashoor
(South Australia )

Mother Poems

I love you mum.
I never feel upset or nervous when you're next to me.
You have been showing me the right way in my life.
I love the way you give me advice or courage.
I am very lucky that I had a mother like you.
However how much I paid I would never ever get a mum like you.
I hope you will be next to me for ever.

Mothers Day Poem

by leigh osbon
(hillingdon middlesex)

I got on this website to write something other than the normal . best wishes, good luck, congratulations as they are already in the card. I have on occasions wrote poems and the ones I have wrote are normally for someone who has died, which is a bit sad but cannot find any other way to express my feelings at the time.
Although I did write one for my mother on mothers days, due that she has supported me through my mid life crises. So this is it

TO MUM

There's no one in the world like
You
In addition, no one loves me as you do.

I am older now but still a child and need you
Each and everyday.
Therefore, I need to further say
With you here, life's not so bad,
You make me happy when I am sad.

Without you I cannot
Cope,
You always help and give me
Hope
I take a bit of you each day
You always help me find my way.

Sometimes, I know I cannot see in front of me
and do not like reality.
I call you up and your words give me sight to carry
On and make things right.

I want to give you peace each day but sorry that it's not true,
I always seem to rely on you.
I know you worry, I should grow up, I know I should!
But then your cuddles would not feel as good.
For in your arms when I'm feeling sore.
Nothing makes me happy more

It's then I'm safe from inside wars
Just knowing I am special -I am a child of
Yours.
An Angel is what you are!
I'm glad you're here and not too Far.

I love you mum more than words can say
Together we travel all the way.
Happy Mothers Day

Poem for Mothers Day

by Richard Barnard
(Norfolk, England)

Always there for us

A Mum is just Special
She’s One Of A Kind,
She loves all her children
And always will find
Time for a cuddle
And always a hug,
A comforting word,
Or even a mug
Of hot steaming tea,
Or sometimes a letter
To keep up to date
And make you feel better.

Mothers Day Poem for Sister

by Brenda
(England)

I wrote it for a mothers day card for my sisters, but it can easily be used for different occasions.

S-I-S-T-E-R

"S" is for sister
how special you are,
"I" is for individual,
you shine out by far,
"S" is for supportive,
for that's what you've been,
"T" is for the tears shed,
from what you've seen,
"E" is for ever,
in our hearts you'll always be,
"R" is remembered,
forever by me.

70th Birthday - Mother Poems Sentiments

by Eddie Anderson
(Washington State)

Mom, It's hard to believe you are seventy. When I look at you I see a beautiful woman, both inside and out. I see someone who is willing to change, refusing to get stuck in a time warp. You are the "light" Mom. Way to keep it plugged in. We love you

A Mothers love - Decision Taken

by Vera Harrison
(County Durham UK)

My daughter asked me to make a card for her to send to her best friend as she had the unenviable task to have her Mother looked after in a Nursing home as she has to have 24-7 care and could not do the job herself. This had broken her heart but nothing on the Net came close to the words I wanted to have in the verse.

A Mother's Love's unending
And it goes the other way
The huge decision you've had to make
Has been truly hard today.

This had to be, for all concerned
I know it was extremely hard,
Take strength & courage in my words to you.
Please dont feel so bad.

I'm sure your choice was for the best
for your Mother needs this care,
You've been the Best Daughter/Son you could have been
(NAME) you were always there.

A Wonderful Mother Poem

by Jak
(Los Angeles, USA)

This poem about a Mother works for Mother's Day, Birthday or, sadly, a Funeral poem. Only a final bit, which you can add, separates them

When God was making Mothers,
As far as I can see,
He spent a lot of time on one,
And saved that one for me.

He made a perfect woman,
Compassionate and kind,
With more patience and affection,
Than you could hope to find.

He gave this lovely lady,
A heart of solid gold,
And after God had finished,
He must have broke the mold (mould)
