I wrote this poem to show my dad how much I love him. Just think it's lovely to express how you feel through words and is a great Fathers Day gift. Webmaster says... this is why I like contributions...this is not a professional writer for the card industry... but just a daughter who wants to say something nice about her Dad...and by submitting this...allows you to say the same to YOUR Dad... Thanks, Lyndsey
All that you are and all that you do, Makes it so special because you are you. You never need to change, you’re perfect the way you are, Bet you never would have thought you could ever come so far. Through all the bad times and the good, You have always given all that you could. So here I am writing this poem for you dad, To be called your daughter I am so glad. You’re a true inspiration and I hope that you know, You are everything to me, few words could ever show.
The world is a better place, no need to be sad, My life is so lovely, because you’re MY DAD.
I loved you from the day I knew your life had just begun, Slowly growing little hands and fingers one by one, Tiny little rosebud mouth, a perfect button nose Wrinkly feet and on the end, ten dinky little toes, But now your journey's over, you're here, you have been born I look at you in wonder, at your perfect little form, So happy BIRTH-day Sweetheart and kisses by the score If I were paid TEN BILLION POUNDS I couldn't love you more.
Dad as you read these words I'm thinking of you And l just want to thank you For all the things you do Through good times And through bad times Your smile is always there Encouraging me all the way By showing that you care So l just want to thank you Dad You've been there right from the start You will always be my hero And forever in my heart
I wrote this Poem for my 2nd Granddaughter before she was born and framed it to gave it to her Mother and Father.
