With Love to You, My Friend

There are so many moments
when I really wish you know
how much you matter to me,
and how much joy you give me.

If there is peace in my heart,
it's because you put it there
with your kind and gentle words,
which showed me you care.

If I see a rainbow in the sky,
it's the vision you share.

If I can make some dreams come true,
it's the truths I learn from you.

In the thoughtful moments of my life,
when I wonder about many things,

A precious thought comes to mind,
of what a wonderful person you are!
