No Shoes Great Blues
by Lili D'Aloia-Facey
(Melbourne, Victoria, Australia)
I had the blues
Cause I had no shoes
Until I met on the street
A man with no feet
He gave me a look
Then gave me a book
In it it said
That his name was Fred
I gave him a phone
Told him to call home
That's when he said
That he didn't even have a bed
I said get in the car
My house wasn't too far
He stayed with me then
And we became great friends
Webmaster says: Two can play at this silly game
I had the blues
Cause I had no shoes
Until I met on the street
A man with no feet
So we did a trade
Which we both thought neat
He gave me his pristine shoes
I gave him my dirty feet
